From April 2017 to March 2018 Ellen Birgitte has worked on the Wadden Sea Project Inseparable Together with two other artists, Nana-Francisca Schottländer and Alex Buhl. The music she has composed during this period has been and will be premiered during 2018 and 2019. In August 2019 “Bølger” will be performed at the Wadden Tide festival and in October 2019 the string quartet “Vadehavets Sang” will be premiered in the island of Fanø. Hereunder you can hear music from the two first concerts.
“Alt er bevægelse” (everything is movement) a work of variations on a song with text by Jens Rosendal for wind quintet, sound recordings and children sounds was premiered by the ensemble Kirin Winds at the Vadehavscentret near Ribe in October 2018. ATTENTION: instruments start at 3:28 after an introduction sung with the audience!
Tidevand (the Tide) is for solo violin, electronics and sounds from the Wadden Sea. Violin: Christine Pryn. This piece was premiered in July 2018 in Slotfelt near Tønder
